Spring Cleaning

This Friday, May 26th, we will be having our annual Spring Cleaning. I am in need of student and parent volunteers to help dust shelves, paint music stands, sort and store music, check instrument inventory, and pack up the room for summer. We will have a small party after we are done cleaning at 4pm. I will provide the pizza but am looking for volunteers to help supply some of the other items. Disney Schedule

Here is the schedule for our 8th grade trip to Disneyland on Saturday:

08:00AM – Arrive @ RMMS/Take Roll/Board Bus

08:30AM – Depart RMMS

09:30AM – Arrive @ Disneyland/Retrieve Tickets/Break into groups/Have FUN!

12:00PM – Meet @ Mickey Statue in front of the Castle/ Take Roll

12:15PM – Lunch on your own with your group and Adult Chaperon/Ride Rides/Have FUN!  (student pays for own lunch)

04:45PM – Meet @ Entrance to Toon Town/Take Roll/Check-in for Workshop

05:30PM – Workshop (90 Minutes)

07:00PM – Workshop Ends/Group Dinner @ Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante in Disneyland (students pay for own dinner)

08:00PM – Board Busses/Depart Disneyland

09:00PM – Arrive @ RMMS/Students Dismissed

Pep-Band/Section Leader/Drum Line Audition Information

We are getting ready for Pep-Band, Drumline and Section Leaders. Theauditions will take place beginning the week of May 15th. Each student will be assigned an audition time once they have registered. To register for an audition time please follow the link below and pick up the Audition Information form from Mr. Kotlewski. Bring the signed Audition Information with you to your assigned audition time.

Quakes Family Fun Night

I would like to invite you and your family to join us as our 7th and 8th grade band students as they perform the National Anthem on Saturday, April 15th 7:00PM, at the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes Game. This family night is a fundraiser for our program and our school and we need your support! Our program will receive a portion of the proceeds for each ticket sold and that money will go toward the purchase vital components of our music program such as instruments, music, stands, etc.

Each ticket costs $10.00 cash or check (payable to F.O.R.M.) and not only gives you admission to the game but also to the fireworks show which follows the conclusion of the game. All ticket orders are due to Mr. Kotlewski or Mrs. Marquez (in the front office) by Friday 4/7/2017.

We are also in need of six (6) adult volunteers to provide supervision during the game. Click the link below to download an order form or sign-up as an adult volunteer. Come out and enjoy an evening of family fun at the Loan Mart Field and cheer on our band students as they represent Ruth Musser Middle School; and don’t forget to invite a friend (or two)!
